In the above image, Jomo Kenyatta, left, confers with his lawyer Dennis Pritt, right, during the Kapenguria Trial of 3rd December 1952 to 8th April 1953, where Jomo Kenyatta and five co-accused, Achieng Oneko, Bildad Kaggia, Paul Ngei, Kungu Karumba and Fred Kubai, were charged on different counts of attempts to subvert the British Colonial Government in Kenya at the time. All six were found guilty and sentenced to seven years imprisonment.
